Attend the Best Friends Annual Conference in Atlantic City, July 13-15!
Any of our loyal customers or followers will surely know that the Willard family is a big proponent of pet adoptions. After John Willard III and his wife adopted their shelter dog, Aspen, they continuously spread the news about the love and joy that their new best friend added to the family.
To encourage our readers to consider adding a dog or cat to their household, we held our Pet Lover of the Year Contest in March. We asked those who entered to share their pet adoption stories, and what their pet means to them. As the decision making was extremely difficult due to the multitude of touching stories we received, we turned the decision over to a team of experts, Wendy Volhard, author, trainer and innovator of the Volhard Motivational Method of Dog Training; Julia Henriques, Managing Editor of Dog’s Naturally Magazine; and John’s lovely wife, Christine Gorrell Willard.
The winner of the contest was to receive an all-expense paid trip to the Best Friends Animal Society Conference. After a hard deliberation, our experts awarded the prize to Louise Guiney and her dog Conner! We are proud to announce that in lieu of accepting the money for the trip, Louise asked for a $1,000 donation to Ready For Rescue, where Louise found her beloved dog, Conner in 2012!
Best Friends Annual Conference
Through our Pet Lover of the Year Contest, we wanted to raise awareness for the amazing work that this no-kill animal shelter has been accomplishing for the last 30 years! With locations in Utah, California, Georgia and New York, they have not only become the largest no-kill animal sanctuary in the U.S., but have also developed programs to pursue their mission of eradicating all of the homeless pets in our country!
The annual conference, held on July 13 – 15 of 2017 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, helps attendees connect with each other, listen to important speakers and attend workshops dedicated to spreading the message about the importance of building no-kill sanctuaries.
Dr. Willard’s® Pet Products
Our brand is committed to the plight of animals around the world, which is why we try to help pets daily by educating our readers about the importance of offering natural food and care products to your pets.
Unfortunately, many pet owners are not aware that many conventional pet products contain harmful, and even life threatening, products, such as chemicals, dyes, perfumes, genetically modified ingredients (GMOs) and synthetic additions, which harm their pets health.
This is why Dr. Willard’s® came out with our own line of Pet Products, which help dogs and cats improve their physical and emotional health!
Our pet kit contains:
Dr. Willard’s Vibrant Pet Water Drops – These drops offer additional benefits of hydration for dogs. Providing pets with clean drinking water with the secret catalyst in the Dr. Willard’s patented formula, this product improves water’s biological functions to help with digestion and nutrient absorption, as well as behavior and performance. This means that your pets will get more vitamins from the same amount of food they consumed before. In addition, these drops serve as a whole-body tonic for pets; when added to fur, they lead to an improved look and feel. Furthermore, owners report that their pets have been calmer and less stressed upon regular use of the Vibrant Pet Drops.
Dr. Willard’s Rejuvenating Skin and Coat Spray – This topical application has been beneficial in promoting a shiny and healthy coat, as well as treating pets’ skin disorders, such as hot spots, scrapes, burns, abrasions and cuts. It also helps with pain tolerance, traumatic injuries and arthritis.
Dr. Willard’s Aloe Gel for Pets – Aloe Vera has been heralded for its health benefits for hundreds of years. Our aloe gel for pets helps to treat infections as well as burns, cuts, wounds, and skin disorders. It can be given to dogs internally by adding some gel to their food, or topically, by applying the gel to their coats or skin.
