Although we still don’t know the actual mechanism behind how Dr. Willard’s Water® works, we can theorize based on laboratory testing and experimental observations.

Everyone is aware that without water living beings would not be able to survive more than a couple of days, but few people really appreciate the important role water plays in our life processes and the maintenance of good health. All living beings are primarily made up of water. Every biochemical process that occurs in a living being does so in a liquid medium. If the proper pH, osmotic pressure, electrolyte balance, etc. is not optimal, then optimal results wouldn’t be expected.

We do know, however, that Dr. Willard’s Water® is a great free radical scavenger and serves as a catalyst in a variety of different situations. According to Sister Marmion Howe, Professor Emeritus of Biology at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, her testing has shown that in some way Dr. Willard’s Water® has “surfactant” properties. This is similar to adding a detergent to water to wash a greasy pan — ordinary water alone would not do the job nearly as well as added soap. The digestion process involves many complex chemical reactions. Digestion begins in the mouth where saliva is mixed in with the food and water consumed. The food must be broken down by hydrolysis into minute particles that can be absorbed into the blood stream. (Hydrolysis is the decomposition of materials by water.) Because Dr Willard’s Water® is a more reactive form of water, it seems to help these processes occur more effectively. From the food consumed, fats have to be broken down into simple fatty acids, carbohydrates into simple sugars and proteins into amino acids. Dr. Willard’s Water® seems to, in some way, facilitate this process.  Testing has shown that subjects drinking Dr. Willard’s Water® have LITTLE OR NO UNDIGESTED NUTRIENTS in their urine or feces which means their bodies absorbed far more of the vitamins and minerals needed to maintain optimum health.

Dr. Willard was reported to say that he thought that “normally 18-20 percent of B vitamins are assimilated by the body, but when taken with a glass of this water, the assimilation increases to 80-85 percent!”

Other tests showed that antibiotics used in conjunction with Dr. Willard’s Water® demonstrated a more effective sensitivity pattern against staphylococci bacteria than the antibiotic without it.
